Real R&B party starters from Spain’s Vampisoul! Just A Little Bit Of The Jumpin’ Bean, the third installment in the label’s R&B Hipshakers series, was originally released in 2013 and collected dance cuts from 1955 through 1964. The compilation was put together by Mr. Fine Wine of WFMU’s Downtown Soulville show and his expertise shows through his selections. There’s plenty of music to move to, from Linda Hopkins’ “Mama Needs Your Lovin’ Baby” to the rollicking uptempo shuffle of Joe Tex’s “She’s Mine.” It’s like an instant vintage dance party all in one release. All tracks were sourced from the King and Federal vaults, and this is the first time many of them have ever been reissued. Get ready to get your hips shaking!
