Stix records (an offshoot of Favorite Recordings) has established its own niche, almost exclusively dealing with Reggae-Disco-Dub covers of classics and popular hits. This is the label’s first full-length and it compiles some of its most in-demand singles (previously available on 7″s) plus several new, unreleased tracks. You’ll get versions of Madonna, Herbie Hancock, Justin Timberlake, The Commodores, The O’Jays, Curtis Mayfield, Harry Nilsson, Sugarhill Gang, and others; all versioned by Lab favorites like Patchworks, 7 Samurai, Blundetto, The Dynamics, Taggy Matcher, and others.
