Number 2 from NY’s Hello Sailor label brings another round of delectable disco edits on 45! This time around Sao Paolo DJ duo Selvagem dig up a pair of Brazilian disco gems and give them the edit treatment just for this 7″ release. Up first is a rare Brazilian disco cover of Chic’s classic “Le Freak,” a mostly instrumental version complete with soaring synthwork that takes it to the top. On the flip, Selvagem deliver an extra funky edit of Elio De Buzios “Tamanqueiro” that calls for beachside or rooftop grooving asap. Comes in lovely pic sleeve, recommended.
