The good doctor Eric Duncan (aka Dr. Dunks) teams up with fellow NYC DJ/producer Justin Vandervolgen of TBD/Golf Channel fame for a pair of acid house workouts under the Happy Family alias. You may know these two for their top notch disco work, but this 12″ proves they also know their way around some hardware, especially a 303. Check the blistering sound of “Burnt” that effectively freaks some bubbling mid-range acid for peak-time blow up, while “Hard To Breathe” eases up with a bit of melodic italo house vibes. Seems these two can do anything they put their mind to!
