Germany’s super-selective Faces imprint hits up their extended roster for this 3 track edits EP. Jayson Brothers aka Motor City Drum Ensemble’s track is nestled on the b-side inside cut, but it’s reason alone to pick this up. He edits up Dimitri From Paris favorite “My Love Supreme” by Milton Hamilton. This 1976 disco-funk cut has bells to challenge (but ultimately bow out gracefully to) “Mardi Gras” and MCDE edits that section up nicely. Kid Sublime and Ugly Drums also contribute edits, but I’m pretty sure you’ll be burning B2. Recommended.
