Excellent edit work from our neighbors to the north. The Common Edit label hits their 10th release, this time featuring CE regulars Khotin & Dane plus Lab fave Eddie C on 12″ (all previous releases have been on 7″). Khotin And Dane kick things off with the seductive spound of “IMHO” that ride a breezy balearic groove, while “System” get the party moving on a funky italo stomp. On the flip, Dane goes solo for the slowed down Gary Low edit of “I Want You,” which most will recognize as the source for the Washed Out beat aka Portlandia theme. Finally, Eddie C closes it out on the psychedelic tip for all the trippers in the place.
